Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities and assess market trends and competition.
    • Analyze customer needs and preferences to tailor our offerings to meet market demand.
  2. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement strategic business development plans and forecasts to achieve sales targets and expand market reach.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align business strategies with company goals.
  3. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
    • Identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  4. Proposal Development & Negotiation:
    • Prepare and present proposals, negotiating terms and conditions to close deals effectively.
    • Work closely with the technical team to ensure that customer specifications are met in proposals and contracts.
  5. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with the marketing, service, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
    • Provide feedback to service & operations teams based on market insights and customer feedback.
  6. Performance Tracking & Reporting:
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and generate reports for management review.
    • Use data analytics to refine business strategies and improve sales processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the electrical industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical products and services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
