Colwill Engineering, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated HVAC Sheet Metal Duct Foreman in the Orlando, FL area to join our team. Performs the full range of Journeyman level duties for Sheet Metal in the construction, finishing, repair, etc. of buildings.

What this Role will Do:
- Utilize and interpret blueprints to determine how and where to fabricate, assemble and install sheet metal products.
- Can develop additional sketches if needed.
- Measure, mark dimensions and lay out material to be installed.
- Install hangers and all related hardware through corridors, confined spaces and other large passages.
- Installation of commercial sheet metal duct systems using a variety of equipment.
- Installing various types of metal and fiberglass duct including (round, oval, rectangular).
- Ensure that efficiency is maximized while fabricating and installing HVAC systems.
- understanding of central air conditioning systems.
- Install various types of units that vary in medium to large tonnage.
- Installation/Setting of curbs, RTU's, Condensing units, AHU's.
- Generate complete material takeoffs for complex systems.
- Read and Interpret Mechanical submittals.
- Manage multiple Mechanics, Junior Mechanics, and Apprentice while remaining productive.
- Attend site meetings to identify issues on the project before they impact work.
- Keep weekly records of dailies, Employee time, and other job site documents.
- Coordinate effectively with other trades.
- Communicate with the Project Manager for RFI's, Change orders, and other various aspects of the project.
- Enforce and maintain company safety policies.

- CEM employees and subcontractors are required to implement and maintain all safety and health systems practices including the training requirements of CEM Orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Identification and Reporting, and OSHA 10.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- 7+ years of sheet metal experience
- High school degree or GED preferred or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
- Expected to be able to work at a fast pace.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Self- motivated.
- Excellent math skills
- OSHA certification preferred
- Aptitude for technical problem solving.
- Familiarity with building codes and current laws/regulations.
- Have excellent communication skills.
