THE POSITION:
Canyon State Electric is seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Business Systems Administrator to lead the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of our enterprise systems, including CMiC, Procore, Sage, SharePoint, and related Microsoft 365 tools. This role plays a critical part in optimizing our internal operations by ensuring our business systems are aligned with organizational needs, secure, and effectively used across departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the subject matter expert for CMiC, Procore, Sage, SharePoint, and integrated business systems.

Assist end-users with system-related questions and issues, promoting best practices and efficient use of platforms.

Configure and maintain CMiC environments (PROD, TEST, TRAIN), oversee user access, security roles, and maintain data integrity.

Collaborate with stakeholders to test and deploy new system features and updates, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Provide system training, develop user guides, and maintain SOPs for all platforms.

Monitor system performance and coordinate patches, upgrades, and enhancements in collaboration with vendors and IT.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security, access controls, and company policies.

Use Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to build dashboards, automate workflows, and visualize business insights.

Manage relationships with software vendors (e.g., CMiC) and oversee support ticket resolution and system improvements.

Lead or support business systems-related projects, including timelines, stakeholder coordination, and successful implementation.

Configure and customize SharePoint sites, maintain permissions, site structure, and content governance.

Maintain documentation of all governance policies, system activities, and user access changes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-6 years experience working with business systems from an administrative capacity

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.

Experience managing enterprise business systems (CMiC, Procore, Sage, etc.), preferred.

Familiarity with database administration is a plus.

Strong understanding of ERP environments, compliance standards, and IT governance.

Experience in managing system upgrades, patches, and third-party integrations.

Ability to manage user access and security roles across systems.

Excellent documentation skills and experience maintaining SOPs and system records.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.

Previous experience with security audits and vendor Service Level Agreements is a plus.

Salary Pay Ranges from: $90,000 - $105,000
