One Source Security is looking for a Security System Service Technician to support our team.  The Security System Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems for both residential and commercial clients. This role requires a thorough understanding of security technologies and proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving system issues to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation: Setup and install security systems including alarms, surveillance cameras, access control systems, and other related equipment at client sites.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on security systems to ensure reliability and functionality.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by clients, providing timely solutions to maintain system integrity.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining system functions, and ensuring clients are comfortable with their security setups.
  • System Upgrades: Recommend and implement system upgrades to enhance security measures as needed, keeping up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions for each job site.
  • Compliance: Ensure installations and repairs comply with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Proven experience with security system installations and troubleshooting. Familiarity with various security technologies and equipment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in electronics or a related field is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively address and resolve client issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction and support.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of precision and attention to detail in carrying out technical work.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of performing physical tasks such as climbing ladders and handling equipment.

Working Conditions:

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings, depending on client needs.
  • Willingness to travel to different job sites within the assigned area.

Hourly wage range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
