Position:  Billing Administrator - IDD
Location:  Euless, TX

Pay: $45,000 per year

Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Organizes flow of information including billing, forms, MR/RCs, Plans of Care (POCs) and related department forms to ensure program compliance.
  • Follows up to ensure receipt of documentation from any funding sources regarding licensure and payment information.
  • Inputs MR/RCs, POCs, and/or any other required forms into automatic system for departmental personnel as required.
  • Maintains and updates system of files, including all information needed for a billing audit, as required by funding sources; completes this on-going process without direct supervision.
  • Disburses reports and forms to applicable funding sources in accordance with contract compliance.
  • Tracks information supplied to funding sources.
  • Completes billing for HCS, Deaf/Blind and SAC programs on a monthly basis.
  • Completes billing for other community-based programs and SAC programs as designated.
  • Completes utilization report of units and dollars of services delivered on a monthly basis.
  • Completes other utilization reports for various programs as required.
  • Disburses completed reports and forms to designated staff as required.
  • Maintains information and relationship with funding sources in order to ensure proper billing procedures and ability to seek assistance when needed for trouble-shooting billing problems.
  • Will adhere to the HCS evidentiary principles when working in the Home and Community-Based Services programs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate Degree plus four years directly related experience OR high school diploma/equivalent plus six years directly related experience.

  • Valid Texas driver’s license, clear MVR, and ability to be insured.
