Job Summary:

The individual filling this position will work a combination of first and third shift with the benefit of being home every night. This individual will maintain and operate a tanker truck, transporting liquid materials to and from job sites.  

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a tanker truck to transport liquid materials to and from job sites
  • Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Maintain cleanliness of the truck
  • Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies related to handling and transportation of hazardous materials
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and other team members

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must hold a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
  • Must have a current valid DOT physical
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Demonstrate good judgement and discretion
  • Strong communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited high school is required.
  • Two to three years of CDL driving experience preferred.

Working Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
  • Able to safely climb and descend ladders.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate in operational areas.
  • The position will require work outside of normal business hours.
