Project Manager will:

  • Work closely with the Estimating/Preconstruction team and Project Superintendent to facilitate a seamless transition from estimating to operations.
  • Negotiate, write, and submit subcontract agreements necessary for the completion of the project.
  • Establish a project budget and perform cost analysis to accurately project the anticipated profit.
  • Ensure that the project moves forward in a timely, cost-effective manner, making changes and adjustments as necessary.
  • Work with Superintendent to plan, schedule, organize, report and direct construction activities.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the plans and specifications including scopes of work, scheduled activities, necessary actions to prepare for subcontractor performance, supply chain delays and anticipated challenges.
  • Act as the principal company representative with the Owner and Design Team to ensure the timely and cost-effective placement of the contracted work.
  • Assist in enforcing safety guidelines and operational requirements on the jobsite.
  • Implement and enforce all quality control policies and procedures.
  • Resolve scope conflicts, working to attain resolution as soon as possible.
  • Maintain constant communication with all project team members throughout the construction and closeout of the project.
  • Maintain documentation of all efforts related to the management of the project using approved company means and methods.

 

Requirements:

  • 5 years of commercial construction management experience
  • Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening
  • Good planning and organizational skills, including design execution, resource allocation and contingencies
  • Great with problem solving and decision-making skills
  • OSHA 30 Certification in Construction and a demonstrated in-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations
  • Effective leadership abilities: motivation, goal setting, team building and conflict management
