Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Welder with expertise in Carbon Steel (CS) welding to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, safety protocols, and quality control measures. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding operations on carbon steel pipes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including power sources, torches, and wire feeders.
  • Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipe welding, specifically with carbon steel.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay:

  • Prevailing wage ($30 - $70) including Health and Welfare Fringe Benefits and Cash Fringes
