About the Role

We’re hiring a Lowboy Driver to transport heavy equipment such as pavers, rollers, excavators, end-loaders, and other machinery to various job sites for construction projects. You’ll primarily operate during first shift and enjoy the benefit of being home every night. This is a full-time, seasonal position that plays a key role in ensuring safe, timely, and accurate deliveries.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely operate a commercial lowboy truck to transport heavy equipment
  • Load and unload equipment, securing loads with chains and binders
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck cleanliness
  • Comply with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers
  • Utilize fleet management software for dispatch assignments
  • Maintain regular in-person attendance

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Ability to climb and descend ladders
  • Work outside normal business hours and in varying conditions

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL with manual transmission
  • Current valid DOT physical and clean driving record
  • Familiarity with safe operation of construction and paving equipment
  • Knowledge of USDOT and FMCSA safety regulations
  • Understanding of DOT weight restrictions and cargo securement rules
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed
  • 5+ years of lowboy/carry-all experience preferred
