A day in the life:

  • Maintain strict adherence to all company safety rules, regulations, procedures, and practices
  • Assist with organizing assigned areas (i.e., warehouse, laydown areas, storage units)
  • Check freight bills and purchase orders against physical shipment and report damage or discrepancies on incoming material
  • Tag and log all incoming material and coordinate deliveries or pickup with departments
  • Place material in proper storage area and document location
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and reports for damaged and/or missing items

You should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory management
  • Forklift and material handling skills, prior forklift certification and a minimum of one year experience preferred
  • The ability to recognize piping, plumbing, mechanical related material, tools, and equipment
  • Knowledge of parts, tools and equipment associated with HVAC/plumbing systems
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, DOT requirements, Hazmat materials and shipping procedures
