Truck Driver Pay Range:
Truck Driver Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely delivery of all materials to the job sites
- Deliver various types of materials that are required for each job site.
- Operate truck with a standard transmission.
- Responsible for proper loading and securing loads on truck and trailer.
- Pick up miscellaneous materials at the suppliers.
- Clean up shop and yard when not making deliveries.
- Responsible for minor maintenance on trucks.
- The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
Truck Driver Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Class A CDL license and a good driving record with DOT Certification.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience.
- Must be able to drive a semi-truck with flatbed trailer.
- Must have previous flatbed and chain securement experience.
- May be required to deliver across state lines.
Truck Driver Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
- Must be able to sit and drive the truck for long periods of time.
- Job requires occasional amounts of bending, stooping, and carrying of metal products.
This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Compliance with this requirement is a fundamental condition for employment.
