B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc., a well-established excavating and paving company, is looking for a full-time MINI HOE OPERATOR who enjoys the outdoors and takes pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of equipment operation procedures
  • Knowledge of safety requirements on the job, such as confined spaces, ditch work and road traffic control
  • Read and understand blueprints, grade sheets and recording as-builts
  • Knowledge of sanitary sewer pipe work & Waterline pipe work, fittings and testing
  • Knowledge of sanitary sewer pipe work and testing
  • Skilled at setting up and adjusting lasers
  • Familiar with state, township and borough specifications and requirements
  • Digging/loading mass excavations, hoe ram rock, and tamp trenches
  • Daily equipment maintenance
  • Ensure safety of self and others when traveling and on job sites
  • Maintain excellent communication with job site Supervisor, co-workers, and other departments

Experience & Qualifications

  • Required:  Valid Driver's License
  • Preferred:  CDL license
  • Required:  One (1) year experience in excavation work
  • Preferred:  Equipment operation and utility installation
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
