Job Overview

We are recruiting a Journeyperson and Apprentice - Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at our Cold Lake facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy equipment, heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities 

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Heavy equipment, heavy-duty trucks and light vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and functionality. Able to diagnose and repair manufacturers spec.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Collaborate with team members for effective operations.

 Requirements 

  • Journeyperson Ticket 
  • Valid Driver License
  • Must meet the physical requirements of the position.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment skills
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing including marijuana.
  • Must be fit-for-duty.
  • Must be able to provide clean Canadian criminal record check.
  • Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.
