Job Overview
We are recruiting a Journeyperson and Apprentice - Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at our Cold Lake facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy equipment, heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Heavy equipment, heavy-duty trucks and light vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and functionality. Able to diagnose and repair manufacturers spec.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
- Collaborate with team members for effective operations.
Requirements
- Journeyperson Ticket
- Valid Driver License
- Must meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment skills
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing including marijuana.
- Must be fit-for-duty.
- Must be able to provide clean Canadian criminal record check.
- Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.
