Job Description
Our Sealcoat & Stabilization Division is seeking an experienced individual to operate motorgrader with finish abilities. Tasks will include but not limited to; placing and spreading base materials, shoulder rock, cutting dirt to subgrade elevations, ditch and fore slope grading, smooth blading for overnight rain proofing, etc.
- Qualified applicants must understand operating a motorgrader the "old school" way. No GPS on this equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned according to operating abilities.
- The operator we are seeking must be safety minded, maintenance oriented, punctual, have dependable transportation, a positive attitude and work well with others.
- Operating experience with other equipment is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record, Class A or B CDL is preferred.
- This is a full-time seasonal position based out of Brooklyn, IA and involves some overnight travel during the construction season.
