About the Role

This part-time, seasonal internship provides a broad overview of the construction industry and exposure to multiple areas of our business. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and learn about operations in Quality Control, Quarries & Sand Yards, Paving & Trucking, Ready Mix Concrete & Building Materials, and Asphalt Plants.
This internship will be 24 hours per week, giving you flexibility while gaining valuable experience.

What You’ll Do

• Shadow experienced professionals to understand the construction process
• Observe aggregate, lab, and density testing
• Learn about mix design and production processes
• See how scheduling, ticketing, and dispatching work in real time
• Gain insight into project management and job site operations
• Attend training sessions designed to build your knowledge
• Occasionally assist with hands-on projects

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Work in various weather conditions and tolerate typical job site environments
• Ability to travel to job sites

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled in college)
• Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
• Willingness to learn with a positive attitude and dependability
• Strong communication skills and ability to work safely
• Interest in construction, engineering, or related fields
