Job Description
Title: Superintendent Level 3
Department: New York Operations
Reports To: Superintendent, Senior Superintendent and/or Project Manager by project
Knowledge
Knowledge of specific field trades
Knowledge of Local Law 196
Thorough understanding of OSHA, NYCDOB and FDNY regulations
Understand LEED material requirements
Skills
Experience managing select specialty partners
Actively participates in foreman’s meeting for trade specific topics
Assist with layout on the jobsite
Direct work in the field and make decisions for field conflicts
Collect, review, and understand daily huddles
Understand, follow, and implement Site Safety Plan
Partner with project managers to create, review and enforce JHA/PTP plans
Able to run IIF committee meetings
Coordinate trade specific inspectors and specialty partners
Ensure correct and quality materials are delivered to the jobsite
Manages plans, specs and quality of specific specialty partners or trades on site
Responsibility for making sure permits are up to date
Collaborates with lead super to develop task specific logistic plans
Assist in writing and understanding Exhibit A’s for trade specific work
Understand and help create RFI’s
Develop stored materials plan based on ROJ
Understand both specific trade and overall job specs and drawings
Complete all required daily and monthly reports
Understand both specific trade and overall job schedule
Create and maintain trade specific lookahead schedules including tracking manpower
Understanding process and controls of ticket work, review SOV and provide comments to management staff
Assist in punch list and close out processes
Ability

Able to communicate and interact with internal project team and external specialty partners
Exhibits leadership skills
Able to recognize risks and hazards on the jobsite
Able to understand project Site Safety Plan
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3-5 years of construction experience
SST card required

$90,00-$105,000
The above salary range represents Hunter Roberts’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards Hunter Roberts provides to employees.
