AS A HORT MANAGER

• You will train and lead the Spray Tech Team in performing the following in accordance with State/Federal Regulations:
• Mix or apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides through sprays, dusts, vapors, soil incorporation, or chemical application on trees, shrubs, lawns, or botanical crops.

HORT MANAGER DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment
• Handling and Moving Objects
• Use plant disease control techniques
• Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment
• Read work order, instructions, formulas, or processing charts
• Move or fit heavy objects
• Performing General Physical Activities
• Train new hires and continuing education for current techs
• Employee Performance Evals, progressive discipline, and coaching
• Monitor payroll and departmental budget

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a valid/current state commercial applicators license with general standards and Cat 3 (turf and ornamental)
• Prefer to have Right of Way and Aquatic license also
• Must have a valid state landscape horticulturist license
• Valid driver's license and clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
