POSITION TITLE:  Wastewater Treatment Operator (part time)

DEPARTMENT:  Technical Services

LOCATION:  Chesapeake, Maryland

SALARY RANGE:  $28 - $38 per hour

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This part time position requires a responsible, hardworking, motivated, and mechanically inclined person to fill a Wastewater Treatment (WWT) Operator position in Chesapeake, Maryland.  Must have a valid driver’s license.

 The daily work will include:

• Mobilizing, operating, and demobilizing wastewater treatment systems

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in wastewater treatment operations required
• Able to do some heavy lifting and work in hot and cold environments
• Experience working with piping (PVC, steel, HDPE)
• Electrical and instrumentation experience preferred
• Must possess strong mechanical and problem solving skills
• Must be reliable and self-motivated
• OSHA HAZWOPER certificate a plus

SALARY/BENEFITS:
