Job Summary

To provide exceptional support for our Asphalt Plant Operations.  Operate/Maintain heavy duty equipment; such as Payloaders, skid steer, graders, and conveyors, used in moving raw material production.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety standards including, donning proper PPE.
  • Report faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs.
  • Adjust and maintain industrial machinery, using control and regulating devices.
  • Safe use of hand tools, power tools, welding and fabrication tools, etc.
  • Clean parts by spraying them with grease solvent or immersing them in tanks of solvent, donning PPE.
  • Actively contribute to Safe Work behaviors, complying with required PPE and safeguards.
  • Maintain accurate data, while upholding the company confidentiality practices.
  • Ad hoc as assigned, act as a point of contact as applicable.

Requirements

  • Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Heavy machine operations required.
  • Working knowledge of heavy equipment or mechanically inclined
  • Attention to detail, thorough and ensure proper functionality, securing safety at top of mind.

Pay varies by experience $28-$34/hour + OT
