What You’ll Do as a Sr. Engineer I/II:

  • Consider project constraints, perimeter conditions, project goals, agency standards, and engineering best practices in developing project designs.
  • Assist with construction administration, including RFI’s, submittals, and construction changes.
  • Train and provide technical assistance to junior staff.
  • Prepare technical reports and perform complex calculations related to hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, stormwater detention, and utility sizing.
  • Perform complex grading design and earthwork calculations.
  • Provide complex deliverables to TM or PM or externally, including full QAQC and checking for completeness.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Have a combination of a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university. Minimum years of experience can range from 5 to 7 years depending on previous land development design experience.
  • Minimum 2 years independently solving complex engineering problems within land development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, LDD, and/or Civil 3D software required.
  • EIT Certification
  • A motivated, curious problem-solver who works well independently and on a team.
