The Quality Control Engineer (QCE) will work with the Project Superintendent primarily to administer the Project Quality Control Program. This project-specific position requires the individual to possess a US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors training certification and should be familiar with scheduling, manpower review, safety, and inspections. Lusardi may provide training for the procurement of the certification if the individual does not currently possess it or if it has expired. As a QCE, you will also work with Project Management on RFI's, Submittals, basic quantity takeoffs, plan changes, and the relationships between the entire project team.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Logging submittals and processing RFI’s
- Leading pre-installation meetings with subcontractors and vendors to ensure QC program compliance
- Maintaining and updating field drawings, field equipment, and records
- Assisting with coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field staff
- Preparing memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documents
- Assisting with project documentation requirements
Additional Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support the Superintendent and Foreman as necessary
- Support Project Management from the Field/Jobsite
- Assist with safety and quality audits
- Reading and understanding drawings and specifications
- Maintaining and updating field drawings, field equipment, and records
- Assisting with coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field staff
- Preparing memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documents
- Assisting with project documentation requirements
- Performing other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- US Army of Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors #784 Certificate required
- Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree completed or in progress, or equivalent experience
- Effective written and verbal English language communication skills
- Ability to use independent judgment; self-starting
- Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Project, Procore
The pay range for this position of employment is expected to be between $80,600 and $88,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
