We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter Foreman to lead and supervise a team of Carpenter Leadmen and Carpenters on a commercial construction jobsite. The Carpenter Foreman will be responsible for coordinating daily tasks, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with blueprints and specifications. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage schedules, materials, and on-site personnel while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety. Travel to the jobsites in San Diego County & Riverside County is required.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in performing journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry duties
- Review project plan and blueprints
- Estimate time, material, equipment, and supplies needed
- Track production rates of self-performed work
- Develop work schedules and crew assignments
- Develop and manage JHAs, ensure crews are working safely and properly trained
- Maintains records of operations
- Monitor inventories and request supplies and equipment
- Ensure work areas are properly maintained
- Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues
- Consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner
- Ensure carpentry jobs are completed in due time and ensure work is performed according to Lusardi standards
- Discipline, mentor, and monitor the performance of employees
- Coordinate and maintain crew safety, equipment, and tool training
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Previous commercial construction experience required
- Detail-oriented
- Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipment,
- Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend, or kneel while wearing a tool belt
- Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions
- Adhere to all OSHA and Lusardi safety practices and procedures
- Support activities at all Lusardi job sites as directed
- Display basic computer skills
Education and Experience:
- HS Diploma, GED, and/or Apprenticeship Training preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Foreman carpenter or similar role
- Considerable knowledge of: rough and finish carpentry; tools, equipment, materials, and safety practices of carpentry work; building techniques of new and remodel construction; masonry, concrete, steel, pre-cast, and wood construction
- First aid certification and forklift training preferred
The pay range for this position of employment is expected to be between $46.00/hour and $54.00/hour. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
