We are looking to fill a CDL Driver opening in Carson City, NV. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for supporting operations by transporting equipment, supplies, and materials while also performing general labor tasks. You'll be part of a dynamic team, handling a variety of tasks such as loading/unloading materials, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and performing hands-on tasks like jackhammering and pipe installation. Essential Duties:
- Operate vehicles to transport materials and supplies, and dump loose materials
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily
- Perform a variety of tasks such as removing forms, placing pipe in trench, jackhammer and tapping
- Work in a team environment to accomplish daily goals
- Load and unload vehicles
- Secure equipment and vehicles at the end of the workday
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Key Qualifications
- 1 year construction general labor experience or military equivalent
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Valid DOT Medical Card (if operating company equipment)
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Physical activity required for role
- Work outside in a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
- Standing and walking for extended periods on uneven surfaces
- Repeatedly kneeling, climbing, crouching, crawling, reaching, working overhead
- Repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds overhead
- Move about, in, and around construction vehicles
- Good vision (either normal or corrected) and good balance
- Manual dexterity for the use of hand and power tools
- Work from heights of up to 50 ft, including on ladders, lifts, elevated platforms, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, or other safe work areas
- Work as needed in tight spaces
- Pass Pre-Employment drug screen and background check
