Control Panel Technician – Shop-Based Position
Location: Glendale, AZ | Type: Full-Time
Industrial Power Solutions is hiring a Control Panel Technician to join our in-house team. This is a shop-based position focused on building and wiring UL 508A control panels. If you have experience assembling electrical panels, wiring components to spec, and working with electrical schematics, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
-
Build and wire electrical control panels to UL 508A standards

Perform point-to-point wiring for relays, instrumentation, and control components

Install hardware and subassemblies using basic hand and power tools

Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings

Perform in-shop testing and assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical panel building or related field

Familiarity with UL 508A and NEC standards

Proficient with tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, and torque drivers

Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and blueprints

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in a production environment

Must pass pre-employment drug screening
