Essential Functions: Responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process. This includes sourcing qualified candidates through multiple channels, coordinating interviews, and actively participating in career events. The successful candidate will consistently execute the Filanc recruiting strategy while building and maintaining trusting relationships with potential hires. This is a temporary position through the end of December 2025 with a potential of the role becoming a full-time, permanent position.
Areas of Responsibility: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaboration with Hiring Managers
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
- Collaborate to develop and update talent profiles for open positions.
- Lead hiring manager workshops to enhance recruitment process.
Job Description and Interview Coordination
- Assist in updating job descriptions and interview questions to reflect accurate position requirements.
- Provide job-specific interview questions that align with the talent profile and company core values.
Candidate Sourcing and Engagement
- Publish and update compelling job ads in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Source potential candidates through various online channels, including social platforms and professional networks.
- Manage candidate information by assessing resumes and other details using the ATS.
- Track and update candidate status, manage email follow-ups, and maintain candidate data accurately.
Logistics and Coordination
- Schedule both initial video calls and in-person interviews with candidates.
- Coordinate reference checks.
- Prepare detailed monthly recruitment reports.
- Prepare weekly status reports for hiring managers.
Relationship Development
- Foster long-term relationships with previous applicants and potential candidates to build a robust talent pipeline.
Career Events and Social Media Management
- Collaborate with Operations to assist in organizing and attending career fairs and recruitment events.
- Manage recruitment-related social media platforms such as Indeed, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn.
- Act as a company ambassador during initial meetings and video calls by effectively communicating Filanc culture, history, and values.
Miscellaneous Responsibilities
- Cross-train in HRIS to ensure operational flexibility.
- Serve as HR Administrator backup for onboarding employees.
- Assist in the planning and hosting of company events.
- Actively participate in industry-related committees, seminars, and programs to stay updated on HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 2 – 3 years of related recruiting or HR experience.
- Construction recruiting experience preferred.
- PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective presentation skills with experience leading workshops and training sessions.
Working Conditions
- The role is primarily office-based.
- Extensive use of computers and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Frequent use of telephones and general office equipment.
