As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a highly organized and motivated Preconstruction Coordinator to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This position plays a key role in supporting the early phases of project delivery.

Position Summary:

The Preconstruction Coordinator is responsible for assisting the estimating and project management teams during the preconstruction phase. This role involves coordinating bid schedules, managing documentation, organizing communications with vendors and subcontractors, and supporting the overall estimating workflow to ensure timely and accurate project bids.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have experience with engineering or software proposal writing and are familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite. While experience in the electrical industry is preferred, it is not required.---

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate the bid process by managing timelines, tracking documents, and scheduling deadlines.

· Distribute RFQs (Requests for Quotes) to vendors/subcontractors and follow up on responses.

· Organize and maintain bid documents, drawings, specifications, and pricing files.

· Assist estimators with data entry, proposal formatting, and compiling final bid packages.

· Maintain accurate subcontractor/vendor contact databases and internal pricing references.

· Prepare internal meeting materials and assist with bid reviews and project handoffs.

· Support post-award documentation including submittals, change orders, and turnover files.

· Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth transitions from preconstruction to execution.

· Support proposal development for engineering or software-related projects when applicable.

Skills & Qualifications:

· 2+ years of experience in construction administration, estimating support, project coordination, or engineering proposal development.

· Experience with engineering or software proposal writing is a plus but not required.

· Familiarity with Microsoft Teams is preferred.

· Knowledge of the construction industry (electrical experience preferred but not required).

· Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Familiarity with Bluebeam, Accubid, or Trimble Estimation is a plus.

· Detail-oriented and well-organized with excellent time management skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
