By providing quality installations and scheduled planned maintenance, Air Systems Engineering commits to providing efficient and reliable mechanical systems with years of dependable service and complete customer satisfaction.  We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial HVAC Service Projects Installer. The right individual must be a team player who works and communicates well with people at all levels while maintaining full ownership of assigned responsibilities. 

WAGE RANGE:  $40 to $50 per hour

As an HVAC Service Projects Installer, you'll be responsible for the installation of a wide variety of HVAC systems in retrofit and upgrade environments. This is not new construction -- these are fast-moving projects, requiring a seasoned installer who is comfortable working in active facilities and tight timelines. You'll be expected to install and retrofit commercial HVAC systems such as:

  • Mini-split systems
  • Packaged rooftop units (RTUs)
  • Ducted split systems
  • Heat pumps (both ducted and ductless)
  • Sheet metal ductwork fabrication and installation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform professional installations of HVAC systems in commercial and light industrial settings
  • Retrofit existing systems, including tear-outs and reinstallation with minimal disruption to occupied buildings
  • Fabricate, modify, and install sheet metal ductwork as required by job scope
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes and installation standards
  • Work independently or with a team to meet tight project timelines
  • Collaborate with project managers, service techs, and other trades on-site

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, particularly with retrofits
  • Strong skills in sheet metal ductwork fabrication and installation are a must
  • EPA Universal Certification preferred
  • Electrical License/Trainee Card preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs,, work on ladders, and operate power tools
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
