We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial HVAC Service Projects Installer. The right individual must be a team player who works and communicates well with people at all levels while maintaining full ownership of assigned responsibilities.
WAGE RANGE: $40 to $50 per hour
As an HVAC Service Projects Installer, you'll be responsible for the installation of a wide variety of HVAC systems in retrofit and upgrade environments. This is not new construction -- these are fast-moving projects, requiring a seasoned installer who is comfortable working in active facilities and tight timelines. You'll be expected to install and retrofit commercial HVAC systems such as:
- Mini-split systems
- Packaged rooftop units (RTUs)
- Ducted split systems
- Heat pumps (both ducted and ductless)
- Sheet metal ductwork fabrication and installation
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform professional installations of HVAC systems in commercial and light industrial settings
- Retrofit existing systems, including tear-outs and reinstallation with minimal disruption to occupied buildings
- Fabricate, modify, and install sheet metal ductwork as required by job scope
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety codes and installation standards
- Work independently or with a team to meet tight project timelines
- Collaborate with project managers, service techs, and other trades on-site
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, particularly with retrofits
- Strong skills in sheet metal ductwork fabrication and installation are a must
- EPA Universal Certification preferred
- Electrical License/Trainee Card preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs,, work on ladders, and operate power tools
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
