We invite motivated individuals to join our growing team as an Installation Technician Assistant. This is an exceptional opportunity to learn from experienced industry professionals, develop valuable technical skills, and contribute to the safety and security of our community.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior technicians with the installation of wired and wireless alarm systems, IP and analog surveillance cameras, and access control solutions.
  • Participate in the initial configuration and testing of security systems under the supervision of experienced personnel.
  • Learn proper techniques for running, terminating, and managing low-voltage wiring.
  • Support the testing of system components to ensure proper functionality.
  • Observe and assist with client system handovers, including basic operational instructions.
  • Assist in the accurate completion of project documentation and record-keeping.
  • Adhere to all industry safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Demonstrated interest in technology and a desire to learn about security systems.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and work collaboratively with senior staff.
  • Basic aptitude for understanding and applying technical concepts.
  • Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
  • Physical capability to perform job duties, including climbing ladders and handling equipment (assistance provided as needed).
  • Reliable transportation to job sites in the Merrimack area.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
  • Any prior experience with low-voltage electrical work.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles.
