Who We're Looking For:
We are currently looking for a Underground Foreman to join our Nevada Micro Trenching team. This person must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance to successfully manage underground construction projects. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple groups of 2-4 crew members and mentor and train junior team members
  • Clear understanding of operating the Horizontal Drill and Excavation equipment
  • Follow proper safety procedures when operating equipment and working in the ROW
  • Pickup/Deliver supplies, tools, equipment, etc., via company vehicle (towing trailer if applicable)
  • Responsible for the upkeep of all company-issued tools and equipment
  • Maintains and submits complete and accurate files/logs/pictures/reports as determined by supervisor and/or other management personnel
  • Develops and maintains a positive company image, both internally with fellow employees and with customers
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in reading and understanding construction drawings to translate technical specifications into on-site construction activities.
  • Must have expertise in conduit installation, ensuring adherence to specifications and proper separation from existing conduits to maintain infrastructure integrity.
  • Able to maintain a safe work zone by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Skilled in verifying traffic control measures according to the traffic control plan to ensure worker and public safety during construction activities.
  • Knowledge of jurisdictional requirements and regulations governing underground construction projects, including effective communication with jurisdictional inspectors to facilitate inspections.
  • Proficient in computer usage for generating and sending daily reports, uploading photos, completing redlines, and scheduling inspections.
  • Expertise in operating various equipment such as directional drilling machinery, utility locating equipment, hydro excavation equipment, concrete saws, mini excavators, and skid steerers.
  • Familiarity with trenching and shoring requirements to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Preferred possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one for operating vehicles and equipment required for the job responsibilities.
