Morgan Corp is seeking a Safety Manager to join our Savannah Division. This position requires frequent travel to project sites across the Southeast to support field teams, conduct safety inspections, and ensure compliance with Morgan Corp’s high standards for safety and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead Safety Representative on active project sites throughout the Southeast, representing Morgan Corp in meetings with clients and contractors.
- Travel regularly to job sites to observe operations, conduct audits, and provide on-site safety support and training.
- Participate in client Safety Committee meetings and ensure alignment with project and company safety goals.
- Coordinate with Safety Coordinators and Safety Technicians to ensure full coverage across multiple projects.
- Conduct orientations for subcontractors and monitor adherence to OSHA, client, and company safety standards.
- Support Site Supervision to ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with all regulations.
- Lead or assist in daily JSAs, weekly toolbox talks, and site-wide safety stand downs.
- Conduct safety inspections and assign corrective actions where needed.
- Oversee and inspect safety equipment, PPE inventory, and field safety resources.
- Conduct behavior-based safety observations and coach employees toward success.
- Assist with incident investigations, root cause analyses, and reporting.
- Support field leadership with permitting (excavation, confined space, hot work) and first aid when needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience, with at least 2 years in heavy civil construction, site preparation, or underground utilities.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, heavy equipment operation, and construction practices.
- CHST certification preferred.
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively across Morgan Corp project sites (primarily within the Southeast).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
