Adkins Electric, a Norlee Group Company, is looking for a highly motivated  is looking for a highly motivated Project Coordinator in the Jacksonville, FL area to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting the field staff and other team members by ensuring projects, and clerical tasks are on schedule and completed when needed.  This position requires experience assisting multiple projects in all phases of Electrical Construction. 
 
What this Role will Do:
  • The Project Coordinator will be assisting the office with not only daily office tasks, estimates, job walks, and general management of each project from beginning to end.
  • Originate and maintain the preconstruction permitting process, public works and commercial project permitting preferred.
  • Track all open RFI and submittal documents for response from GC.
  • Compose Project Change Orders and issue purchase orders.
  • Enter all submittal and RFI documents responses from GC and distribute to the team.
  • Regular and consistent professional communication with Electrical Project Manager and contractors.
  • Aid in project schedules to complete on time and within budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.


You’ll be a great fit if
:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Also, highly proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel.  Autodesk, Accubid & PlanGrid knowledge also preferred.
  • 5 years of previous Electrical Construction experience.  A plus if you also have electrical project management administration expertise, and or mechanical, plumbing experience.
  • Detailed Oriented.
  • High level of accuracy in all facets of the the job.
  • Have high level interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Superior organizational and demonstrated time management skills.
  • Strong Excel, Word, PDF, and Outlook.  Other software knowledge: Blu-Beam, Sage, and Procore.
