Job Description
Kaempf & Harris Sheetmetal, a Division of R.W. Warner, Inc., is seeking reliable and motivated Laborers/Material Handlers to join our team. These individuals will play a key role in supporting field operations by ensuring that ductwork and other materials are delivered, unloaded, and staged efficiently at project sites. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and able to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Transport ductwork and materials between the shop and various job sites.
- Unload, stage, and organize duct and related materials at project locations.
- Perform basic inventory checks and ensure materials are accounted for.
- Operate company vehicles and material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and staging areas.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus but not required).
- Previous experience in material handling, construction, or warehouse work preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Saturday's possible), 6 am to 2:30 pm (30 minute break for lunch)
Compensation: $18 per hour
