About the Role:

Are you passionate about helping people navigate the healthcare system and get the most from their benefits? We’re looking for a caring, resourceful, service-minded, persistent and proactive Care Navigator to support our employees across the U.S. in making informed, confident, quality-focused, and cost-effective decisions about their health and wellness benefits.

As a key member of our corporate Benefits team, the Care Navigator will guide employees and their covered family members through their employer-sponsored health plan, assist with claims and coverage questions, and ensure they can access high quality care, while minimizing employee financial obligation. This is an exciting opportunity to support a diverse, multistate workforce while improving employee satisfaction and health outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a trusted, first point of contact for employees and covered family members with questions about medical, prescription drug, preventive care, dental, vision, mental health, EAP, and telehealth benefits.
  • Help employees understand coverage details, resolve claims and billing issues, and connect with highly rated in-network providers.
  • Provide personalized support in finding and understanding care options, scheduling appointments, and navigating individual healthcare journeys.
  • Educate employees about employer-sponsored, low-to-no-cost solutions, like high quality provider usage, bundled services, and free lab, radiology and telehealth options,
  • Assist plan members in working with healthcare providers, claim administrators, and other ancillary healthcare vendors.
  • Track and report common issues, trends, and opportunities for benefit education or plan improvements.
  • Partner with HR and Benefits teams to deliver virtual or in-person educational sessions, benefit fairs, and onboarding presentations.

Who You Are:

While not absolute requirements, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment, healthcare navigation, care coordination, case management, nursing role, benefits support, or a related role.
  • A college degree is fine, but it is NOT required.
  • Strong understanding of employer-sponsored health plans, care pathways, claim processing, and insurance carrier processes. (But we’ll teach you these things, too!)
  • Great phone and interpersonal communication skills — empathetic, clear, and patient with employees from all backgrounds.  A teacher, not an enabler.
  • Strong work ethic and service mindset, sound character, and persistent to solve a problem to the end.
  • Able to handle sensitive health information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel on rare occasion.

Why Join Us:

  • Work primarily from home, with some flexibility for your schedule.  Occasional in-office hours in Garrett, IN will be required.
