The Challenge
We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to lead the team transforming the statewide NC Division of Motor Vehicles.
 
In this senior leadership role, you will:
    • Facilitate steps towards process improvements, adapt, and implement innovative solutions for all NCDMV areas.
    • Evaluate and adjust processes to ensure changes have breakthrough results.
    • Ensure NCDMV daily operations are completed at maximum efficiency.
    • Create and implement strategic plans leading NCDMV to higher service proficiency.
    • Help improve our work culture and develop/maintain an environment where staff can thrive, grow, and achieve their career goals.
 
What You Bring
    • Project management experience.
    • Experience gathering feedback from staff for improving processes.
    • Experience leading organizational change initiatives.
    • Problem-solving skills managing a diverse organization.
    • Experience composing and presenting information to diverse audiences.
    • Demonstrated achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) leading a large multifaceted organization with a focus on customer service initiatives.
 
Education & Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree, and
    • 5+ years of program experience, and
    • 3+ years of management experience in the public or private sector involving significant decision-making in the planning, organizing, and directing of operations; or
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
