Pre-Construction Manager

Position Summary

The Pre-Construction Manager is  responsible for proactively taking the lead on the development of client proposals, including budget and pricing development, estimating the scope of work, and  utilizing targeted marketing approaches while also ensuring all content is kept consistent with Broadmoor’s core values and purpose. The Pre-Construction Manager will sponsor the interaction with the design team on overall organization when needed.   The Pre-Construction Manager reports to Broadmoor’s Director of Pre-Construction and may have an Intern or supporting personnel as need requires.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in the field of Construction Management or Architecture or related curriculum
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction industry, preferably a general contractor or subcontractor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including, but not limited to PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and other desktop publishing software
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and software technologies including but not limited to Prezi and Hootsuit
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and management strategies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and content development skills with a basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for an extended period of time and frequently stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel: and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move office equipment up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include viewing computer monitors. Most work is performed in an office environment during normal business hours.
