What You’ll Do

Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety and health programs aligned with MSHA and company standards.

Conduct regular site audits, safety inspections, and risk assessments.

Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action processes.

Deliver engaging safety training to employees, supervisors, and leadership teams.

Manage drug and alcohol testing protocols and coordinate regulatory compliance activities.

Assist operations teams with MSHA inspections and regulatory interpretations.

Oversee new hire safety orientation and specialized hazard communication training.

Maintain safety metrics, documentation, and regulatory reporting.

Collaborate with Human Resources and Legal on workers' compensation cases and policy reviews.
What You’ll Bring
-
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Safety, Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

5+ years of safety experience in aggregates, mining, cement, or heavy industrial environments.

Strong working knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety program management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with training databases preferred.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly desirable.

Ability to travel between aggregate sites and adjust schedules to meet business needs.
