CDL DRIVER

American Concrete Company LLC is looking for a candidate that prioritizes safety, punctuality, and highly values taking satisfaction in doing good work! Enjoy working with a team and using a variety of tools in an ever-changing work environment that stays engaging.

Work area is mostly Washington State, with some trips out of state for contracted work. A typical work week is expected to be 40 hours per week with 24-hour on-call scheduling.

Job Requirements:

  • Endorsements for Airbrakes, Tanker, and Manual transmission (preferred).
  • Able to pass background check, driving record check, drug test, and respiratory exam.
  • Operate a vehicle while pulling, parking, and backing a trailer in a safe manner.
  • Use and maintain concrete cutting equipment, including saws, drills, grinders, shot blasters, and polishers.
  • Use and maintain hand tools, including but not limited to; drills, jackhammers, pressure washers, power drills and saws, impact wrenches, etc.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of road construction equipment safely and effectively.
  • Assess changing weather conditions and their effect on the work at hand while maintaining safety.
  • Work around hazardous materials, dust, traffic, and noise; work can also include high elevations over ground and water, using personal protective equipment supplied
  • Communicate sufficiently to understand, follow, and convey instructions.
  • Learn and utilize computer applications to complete time forms and receive/report job information.

We recommend being able to perform these types of physical activities:

  • Ability to climb and complete some work on ladders
  • Ability to push, pull, & reach frequently
  • Ability to stand/walk/sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift material up to 75 pounds.
  • Wear personal protective equipment such as respirator, gloves, etc.
