Fire Protection – Sprinkler Service Sales

The primary responsibility of this position is to sell service agreements for fire suppression systems inspections; primarily quoting deficiency repairs for fire sprinkler systems based on inspection reports; sell system modifications and upgrades. The target market will be those companies in the commercial, industrial, hospitality and healthcare industries.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 with commission. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Review Inspection reports and provide deficiency quotes to customers
  • Establish contact with prospective and qualified potential buyers of new systems, system modifications and upgrades by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and outlined marketing strategies
  • Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and communicate effectively to educate the customer about WSFP capabilities
  • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support the established sales plan
  • Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships to ensure we meet or exceed their expectations
  • Support other WSFP Teams in their initiatives as they relate to your territory
  • Meeting the key objectives of the annual commission plan

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years’ experience in the fire protection industry
  • Ability to review and understand Inspection reports based on NFPA
  • Viable local relationships with local AHJ’s
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to pass a post-offer drug test, background and reference check
