Fire Sprinkler Service Foreman
The Fire Sprinkler Service Foreman oversees the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. Responsibilities include supervising crews, ensuring projects meet safety and quality standards, coordinating with clients, reading blueprints, and troubleshooting system issues. The foreman ensures compliance with relevant codes and regulations while maintaining project timelines and documentation. Strong leadership, technical, and communication skills are essential.
The salary range for this position is $52.94 to $55.31 per hour, in accordance with the rates established by the local union organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, repair and maintain all types of fixed fire sprinkler systems, including underground piping.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA codes, local regulations, and company standards.
- Inspect and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems for issues or deficiencies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project managers regarding project scope, progress, and any issues.
- Travel within the state to work on various locations/job sites as necessary
- Assist in testing and commissioning new and existing fire sprinkler systems
- Comply with the union collective bargaining agreement – 669
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fire protection industry
- Desired certification includes Backflow Preventer and NICET
- Experience with fire pumps and backflow preventers is a plus
- Possess a valid driver's license; in accordance with Company policy
- Willing to pass a post offer drug test and background check; if applicable
