We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure. As the initial point of contact for troubleshooting, this individual will play a key role in ensuring staff productivity through responsive and effective technical support.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to user support requests via ticketing system, email, phone, or in person.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Provide training and guidance to help users maximize their technology capabilities.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for Windows systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
  • Support video conferencing tools and remote access solutions.
  • Document support processes, solutions, and known issues in the knowledgebase.
  • Escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Support on-site and remote employees with technical needs.
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees with IT provisioning and de-provisioning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Windows operating systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Collaborative team member who can also work independently.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with technology trends.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and technologies.
