Position Overview:

We are seeking a Project Manager I to join our team.  This management position is ideal for someone who has prior experience supporting or managing multifamily, low-rise wood-frame construction projects and is ready to take the next step in leading projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and/or manage day-to-day project operations including budget tracking, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Collaborate with field teams to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and quality standards
  • Prepare and management project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Participate in project planning, procurement, and scope reviews
  • Monitor job costs, assist with forecasting, and provide updates to leadership and clients
  • Serve as a liaison between ownership, design professionals, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Support close out process including punch list tracking and project turnover

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in related field, or a minimum of 2 years as a successful Assistant Project Manager, or a minimum of 7 years' equivalent experience in the construction industry, required
  • Worked on low-rise wood frame projects between $3M to $15M successfully from start to finish, required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, required.
  • Construction software usage, contract documents and job documentation, required.
  • Understanding of Cost/Estimating, preferred.
  • Critical Path method (CPM) project scheduling, preferred.
