Take the reins on-site. Metric Construction is looking for a hands-on, highly skilled Superintendent to oversee some of the most exciting and complex construction projects in Boston. From high-end residential to commercial and institutional builds, you’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader ensuring safety, quality, and schedule alignment every step of the way.

This is a key role for someone who thrives in the field, communicates clearly, and knows how to lead subcontractors with authority and respect.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee on-site project execution from mobilization through closeout

• Coordinate daily subcontractor activities and ensure work aligns with plans and specs

• Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, compliant job site

• Communicate schedule updates and field progress to the PM and stakeholders

• Conduct daily reports, inspections, and photo documentation

• Lead on-site coordination meetings and resolve field issues as they arise

• Maintain site logistics, deliveries, and quality assurance standards

• Represent Metric in a professional manner with owners, architects, and inspectors

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in construction

• Strong background in ground-up construction and site coordination

• Ability to manage subcontractors, resolve issues, and keep the project on track

• Clear communicator with attention to detail and jobsite presence

• Proficient in field reporting tools, Procore, and construction documentation

• OSHA 30 certification required; MA CSL strongly preferred

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
