Seeking a full-time skilled construction worker for working projects across multiple job sites in Cherokee, Iowa region in a commercial or industrial construction environment.
- Shift: 10 hours per day-4 days a week-Mon-Fri
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute skilled construction tasks including framing, concrete work, equipment operation, and general labor
- Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and supervisor instructions
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with job site setup and cleanup activities
- Maintain compliance with proper safety procedures at all times
- Collaborate effectively with crew members and supervisors
- Travel to multiple job sites as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License (mandatory)
- Ability to pass pre-hire drug screening
- 5 years construction experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to travel to multiple job sites as needed
- Capability to work 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
- Team-oriented approach with safety focus
- Dependable and hard-working work ethic
- Experience in commercial or industrial construction preferred
