Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee progress of projects from conception to completion in a timely and cost-effective manner, while being responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, scheduling, and safety.
- Coordinate with owner’s representative, building owners or general contractors to schedule project deadlines based upon different phases.
- Monitor and document work in progress to include worker productivity and safety compliance
- Determine and document project costs then create proposals in Dataforma after inspections and site visits as well as emailing proposals to clients and/or building owners in a timely manner
- Problem solve any issues that arise due to weather, emergencies, etc.
- Utilize smartphone for reporting & communication from field
- Keeping up to date with industry standard processes or techniques
- Monitor, document, and order materials weekly to maintain levels of inventory
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials, tools, or supplies
- Assist Foremen/Roof tech with complete and documenting punch list items
- Manage assigned crews providing performance feedback and training as needed
- Provide general crew supervision
- Maintain compliance with regards to building and safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have been in a Foreman role for at least 3 years
- Competence in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations
- Works independently with minimal guidance to determine own work priorities
- Demonstrated project management skills or certifications
- Ability to teach and educate others of these standards as they pertain to product development and design control
- Excellent listening and communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to influence
- Strong interpersonal skills required in the areas of customer focus, professionalism, coaching, influencing, and team building
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical thinking, questioning and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermediate level of keyboarding skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must hold an NM Driver’s License and be approved to drive.
