The Inside Sales Assistant's primary responsibility is to assist the Petroleum Salesmen with planning and carrying out of all administrative activities on assigned accounts. This role also coordinates contract paperwork with the corporate office and is the point of contact for customer service-related concerns.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Salesmen to gather all the information necessary for project planning including completed project checklists, photos and drawings with dimensions, and completed scopes of work.
- Assist Salesmen with preparing customer proposals.
- Work with Salesmen and Project Managers to ensure that all major equipment and subcontractors are identified.
- Ensure the contract, scope of work, drawings, pictures and all back up information for each project is scanned and electronically filed.
- Assist Salesmen and Projects Managers in obtaining permitting and bond cost for projects.
- Attend preconstruction meetings with Salesmen and Project Managers when necessary to review the scopes of work, material lists, bids, permitting, inspections, on site specifics, scheduling and project duration.
- Ensure that any changes in proposal are reviewed by the Project Manager to obtain a new material list and estimate.
- Work with Salesmen to ensure change orders are completed and signed prior to the onset of work.
- Work directly with the Salesmen and Project Managers to address any scheduling or job issues through the completion of the project.
- Take part in weekly construction scheduling meetings with Salesmen and Project Mangers.
