Position Summary:

An industry leader in restoration repair and replacement of commercial roofing is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Service Coordinator. This individual will serve as a key liaison between customers, field technicians, sales teams, and management to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong leadership, and possesses knowledge of service operations in a commercial/government environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule commercial roofing service work, ensuring optimal technician deployment and job efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service requests, project updates, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, estimators, and field supervisors to manage work orders from initiation to completion.
  • Review and process service reports, work orders, purchase orders, and other documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor and track job progress, technician hours, material usage, and overall job costs.
  • Maintain service logs and CRM systems with current customer and project information.
  • Prioritize emergency service calls and schedule preventive maintenance visits.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior coordinators or administrative support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, warranty procedures, and company policies.
  • Support invoicing and billing teams with job documentation and closing reports.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of service coordination or administrative experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • Knowlege of commercial roofing is desired but not required.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Familiarity with roofing service billing, job costing, and warranty claims is a plus.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a bonus but not required.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role with site visits as needed.
  • Regular interaction with company management, service crews, vendors, and customers.
