JOB SUMMARY

FW Walton Is seeking an experienced Waterproofing Craftsman to join our Service Department. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on skills in waterproofing, roof repair, and related trades, along with a proven commitment to quality workmanship and safety

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Perform a wide range of commercial and industrial waterproofing services, including roof repair, caulking, glazing, and sealant applications.
  • Diagnose and repair leaks, cracks, and other water intrusion issues on roofs, walls, and building envelopes.
  • Apply joint sealants, traffic coatings, and roof coatings in horizontal, vertical, and overhead applications.
  • Conduct routine roof maintenance, inspections, and emergency repair services.
  • Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and hand/power tools while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Follow project specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and company standards to ensure high-quality results.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and clients regarding project status and site conditions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite at all times.
  • May perform other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in waterproofing, roofing, caulking, or glazing.
  • Knowledge of waterproofing systems, roofing repairs, and sealant applications.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, drawings, and repair instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

 WORK CONDITIONS

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently.
  • Frequent standing, climbing, bending, and working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
  • Work performed in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
