Position Description:

The Senior Recruiter will serve as a strategic partner in driving 3C's continued growth by identifying, attracting, and hiring exceptional talent while helping preserve and strengthen the company's culture. This position oversees full-cycle recruiting for both field and office roles, elevates 3C's presence in the talent marketplace, and ensures every new hire has a positive and impactful onboarding experience. Acting as a brand ambassador, the Senior Recruiter represents 3C at career fairs, community events, and industry gatherings, promoting the company's mission and values at every level-- from skilled trades to executive leadership. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is instrumental in meeting business growth targets and enhancing the overall employee experience.

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the entire recruitment process: writing job postings, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, scheduling and leading interviews, extending offers, facilitating pre-employment steps, and guiding onboarding.
  • Develop and sustain a strong and diverse pipeline of talent for both trade and professional positions to improve hiring quality and reduce time-to-fill.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to anticipate workforce needs, clarify role expectations, and ensure alignment with organizational culture.
  • Represent 3C at career fairs, workforce development programs, schools, and industry events to increase brand awareness and attract top candidates.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to design recruitment campaigns and digital content that reinforce 3C's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Keep accurate records in Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Remain current on hiring trends, employment regulations, and labor market conditions in the construction industry.

Onboarding and Candidate Experience

  • Work with HR and hiring managers to create and deliver onboarding plans that ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Equip managers with the tools and resources needed to help employees succeed early in their roles.

Recruitment Operations & Process Improvement

  • Recommend and apply best practices in sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, and diversity outcomes.
  • Use data insights to set hiring goals, optimize processes, and maintain transparency with hiring managers.
  • Gather feedback from both candidates and managers to continuously improve recruiting and onboarding.
  • Provide the CEO with updates, analytics, and recommendations on recruitment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, EEO requirements, and labor laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience in full-cycle recruiting.
  • Track record of successfully filling hard-to-hire roles and development talent pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to connect with diverse audiences.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and results driven.
  • Comfortable interviewing candidates at all levels, from entry-level trades to executive leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and social media sourcing tools.
  • Experience in construction or skilled trades preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Ohio.
