Position Description:

Looking for an exciting opportunity in the construction industry? McAninch Corporation is looking for interns for next summer (May-Aug 2026)! Our interns will work with our GPS division, learning the basics of surveying and using GPS equipment to collect topography data in the field. Interns will also spend time with our Estimators to learn take offs. They will utilize BlueBeam for underground utility take offs and AgTek for grading take offs. 

Qualifications:

• Current college student pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction/Civil Engineering, Construction/Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outside in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites required.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs and/or ladders. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• US Citizenship required. This position is NOT eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Compensation:

Interns are paid an hourly wage of $18.00 per hour. This temporary position is not eligible for benefits.
