We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Preconstruction to join our team. As the Director of Preconstruction, you will be responsible for leading and managing the preconstruction/estimating team to ensure successful project delivery.   • Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage the preconstruction team to ensure successful project delivery
    • Oversee the estimating, precon, ground up, and commercial projects
    • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
    • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contract documents
    • Work with the project team to develop a comprehensive project schedule and budget
    • Conduct value engineering to ensure the project is delivered within budget
    • Assist in the negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and vendors
    • Coordinate with the construction team to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to the construction phase
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
    • Continuously improve the preconstruction process to increase efficiency and reduce costs


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
    • 8+ years of experience in preconstruction management
    • Excellent leadership and management skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Knowledge of construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Trimble and/or EST-MEP
    • Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents
    • Experience in value engineering and cost analysis
    • Strong negotiation skills
